    Owen and Beru Lars are a married couple from Tatooine. Owen Lars is Obi-Wan Kenobi's brother. 18 years before the Battle of Yavin Obi-Wan (aka Ben) brought an infant, Luke Skywalker, to the Lars's. Owen and Beru posed as Luke's Uncle and Aunt and raised Luke in a quite and safe environment until they were killed during a stromtrooper raid.
